NOVA Chemicals reported a hydrocarbon release at its Corunna site Thursday afternoon.
In an email from the company, spokesperson Meaghan Lawrence said the leak was quickly isolated and personnel were investigating and managing on-site activities.
Lawrence said an all-clear sounded at 2:30 p.m and there were no offsite readings related to the event.
Aamjiwnaang's Notification System reported an information only Chemical Valley Emergency Coordinating Organization alert for an on-site propane leak.
