Big Brothers Big Sisters holding Spring Show and Sale

Hoping to cash in on the success of the annual Show and Sale in the fall, Big Brothers Big Sisters is planning a spring event.

Spokesperson Jackie Vandenbroek said this is a first for the charitable organization.

"The need definitely never changes and we do not receive any government funding," said Vandenbroek. "We are always, always in need of building on our fundraisers and hopefully changing them up or at least making them bigger if we can, it's important."

The Spring Show and Sale is set for Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Alexander Mackenzie High School.

Admission is $5. All the proceeds go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton.

Vandenbroek said so far there are about 80 vendors signed up.

If you're interested in participating, get in touch with Big Brother Big Sisters before mid-March at 519-336-0460 or by email at jackie.vandenbroek@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca.
