Driver stopped after allegedly trying to dodge police

A Sarnia man is facing a long list of charges after Lambton OPP stopped an erratic driver in Enniskillen Township Wednesday.

Police stopped the vehicle after it allegedly tried to flee by turning down side streets near LaSalle Line and Marthaville Road. Police also said the pick-up truck wasn't fit to be driven.

The 45-year-old Sarnia man has been charged with two counts of operating a motor vehicle while prohibited, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, operating a vehicle while suspended, having no insurance, and using unauthorized plates.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
