OPP arrest two alleged drunk drivers

Lambton OPP arrested two more alleged drunk drivers Tuesday night in Forest and Lambton Shores.

Police say between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. two vehicles were stopped for Highway Traffic Act offences.

A 43-year-old man from London has been charged with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of his blood and having open liquor in a motor vehicle.

A 38-year-old woman from Lambton Shores is facing a number of charges including operating a motor vehicle while impaired, having improper headlights, and having open liquor in a motor vehicle.

Both will appear in Sarnia court on April 1 to answer to the charges.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
