Bluewater Health welcoming patient stories

Do you have a story about your experience at Bluewater Health? If so, the organization would like to hear from you.

Patient feedback is being gathered as hospital staff get educated on potential areas of improvement.

Patient Experience Specialist Lisa Hawthornthwaite said the "Tell Us Your Story" campaign will benefit everyone.

"It's important actually that we hear stories when things didn't go well for people," said Hawthornthwaite. "We know that there are many lessons to be learned. While we want to, and often highlight the successes, we know those stories help shape improvement when we don't get it right."

Those taking part will be featured in a 30-minute video that will be presented to staff.

You can share your story by calling Bluewater Health at 519-464-4436 or emailing patientadvocate@bluewaterhealth.ca.
