Toilet pranks to flush MS

A local event is raising money to help 'Flush MS'.

Team Cowbell, the highest fundraising team for the 2018 Grand Bend to London MS Bike Tour, came up with the fun idea to coincide with April Fools Day.

Spokesperson Anita Trusler said donations of $20 or more will enable residents to order a decked out toilet to be delivered to unsuspecting friends, family and coworkers.

"Once the toilet is delivered to somebody, they're presented with a waybill that gives them some options," said Trusler. "It tells them that they've been pranked to support MS and they're challenged to donate to MS and to send the toilet on to somebody else, to prank forward or pay it forward."

You can email TeamCowbellMS@gmail.com or phone 519-384-0494 to make arrangements for a prank.

Trusler said toilets are available in different themes including Oscar the Grouch, Star Wars and Johnny Cash Ring of Fire.

Trusler said the toilet pranks will be delivered Sunday, March 31 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m and Monday, April 1 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Money raised will benefit the MS Society in support of the 2019 MS Bile event from Grand Bend to London.
