UPDATE: Rainfall warning for Sarnia-Lambton ended

Environment Canada has ended its rainfall warning for Sarnia - Lambton.

Periods of rain will continue through the night with amounts of 25 to 40 millimetres, one inch to nearly two inches, expected. The rain will change to snow.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Keep children and pets away from creeks and river banks.

Snowfall accumulations of two to four centimetres are possible and travel may be difficult as untreated roads become snow covered and slippery.

Environment Canada's forecast for Sarnia Sunday calls for mainly cloudy conditions with the chance of flurries, gusty northwest winds, and a high of only -1 C, 30 F.
