Local health coalition appealing for volunteers

The local health coalition is hoping to make a lot of noise.

Sarnia Lambton Health Coalition Chair Shirley Roebuck said they're recruiting people to attend the April 30th rally at Queen's Park.

"Bill 74 gives the government and the Minister of Health vast sweeping powers to close hospitals, to amalgamate health services and to switch health care services to for-profit agencies," said Roebuck. "This bill is not good for the people of Ontario and the people of Sarnia-Lambton."

She said the province-wide rally is to protest the People's Health Care Act introduced by the Ford Tories.

The meeting Wednesday is on from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Central United Church on George Street.
