Dates set for Kinsmen Ribfest

The dates have been set for this year's Sarnia Ribfest.

The 20th annual event at Centennial Park will be held over three days in July at Centennial Park.

Sarnia Kinsmen Ribfest Co-Chair Jack Struck said they have six ribbers lined up and six bands, a midway and the Canine Watersports of Canada.

Struck said money raised from Ribfest stays in the community

"Money that we collect at the gate and admission goes to about 30 local charities," said Struck. "Boys Scouts, Air Cadets, Inn of the Good Shepherd, Salvation Army, all our money after expenses goes to local charities."

Sarnia Ribfest will be held July 5, 6 and 7. Admission is by donation and $5 for adults after 6 p.m.

Close to 20,000 people attended Ribfest in 2018.
