Lambton OPP searching for B&E suspects

Lambton OPP are asking for the public's help in tracking down suspects in several rural residential break and enters recently.

Police say cash, jewellry, laptops, electronics, and hand and power tools were stolen between April 12 and April 15 in Brooke-Alvinston and St. Clair Township.

Two residences were entered in the 6000 block of Oil Springs Line, and another two were broken into on Smith Line and Stanley Line.

Police say on April 15 suspects returned to both addresses on Oil Springs line but one of the homeowners interrupted the theft and provided the location and description of a vehicle that fled the scene.

A short time later OPP tried unsuccessfully to stop the suspect vehicle.

The community is being asked to help identify the occupants of a black 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe with dark tinted windows, oversized tires and a light bar attached to the front bumper.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
