Major renovations at Exmouth BMO branch

A major renovation project is underway at the Exmouth Street Bank of Montreal.

The city issued a $1.3 million permit in March for branch renovations that include increasing capacity to support customers, and additional space for wealth and business banking partners.

BMO said it will also be adding a new teller station and a multi-currency ATM, and the building's exterior and parking lot will be upgraded over the next three months.

The bank said work is being done outside operating hours and there won't be any impact on day-to-day operations.

Renovations to the Exmouth Street branch follow BMO's announcement in February that the Christina Street branch is closing as of June 21.
