Two seriously injured during fight

Two people had to be taken to hospital and one has been arrested following a fight in Sarnia.

The Sarnia Police Service said on Wednesday shortly before 4 p.m., two males became involved in a fight at a residence on Maxwell Street near St. Vincent Street.

The pair suffered serious injuries and were transported to Bluewater Health for treatment. One of them remains in serious condition and has been transfered to London Health Sciences.

The other male has been arrested and remains in custody under police watch. It is unknown if any charges have been laid at this time.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
