Salmon Derby reaches halfway mark

Day five of the Bluewater Anglers Salmon Derby was marked with cold, windy and rainy conditions.

There were 50 fish entered at the Sarnia weigh station and 35 entered in Port Franks for a five day total of 835 fish.

There were no changes to the leaderboard.

Robert Brunet of Sarnia in the Salmon category with a 19.01 lb. Salmon. Brian Bubreuvil of Sarnia in the Trout-Boat Category with a 9.90 lb Rainbow Trout Sara Lapish of Sarnia in the Trout-Shore category with a 7.06 lb. Rainbow Trout. Ryan Henry of Kettle Point in the Lake Trout category with a 18.18 lb. Lake Trout. Tammy Milne of Lambton Shores in the Walleye category with a 7.56 lb. Walleye. Evan Hanington of Ailsa Craig is the Kids Big Fish leader with a 15.44 lb Salmon. The Daily Big Fish winner is Tom Watson of Camlachie with a 13.02 lb Salmon. The Daily Draw Prize winners were Chris Dodd of Windsor and Loren Doan of Wyoming. The 43rd annual Bluewater Anglers Salmon Derby wraps up on Sunday, May 12.
