Police said Fred Heinen went missing in the area of Wellington and Siddal Streets at around 3:30 p.m.
Heinen has since been located.
The Sarnia Police Service is thanking the public for its assistance.
Four Sarnia streets made the CAA's regional Worst Roads list this year. The only road outside of Sarnia to make the top five was Windsor's Riverside Drive East.
