High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

<p>Sarnia police arrested three suspects in a drug raid Tuesday including two who tried to flee out a window.
 
At around 9:45 p.m. vice officers executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Mitton Street South.
 
Police say they arrested an occupant of the home and were able to track down a man and woman a short distance away.
 
A small quantity of purple powered fentanyl and other drug paraphernalia were seized.
 
Jason Carroll McGregor, 38, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with a recognizance.
 
A 30-year-old man, and a 41-year-old woman are charged with drug possession.</p>
