Four area students have been awarded 2019 scholarships from the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority.

The conservation scholarship program rewards graduating high school students who've been involved in environmental initiatives, have a high academic standing and are pursuing post-secondary studies in a conservation-related field.

Kevin Robertson from Great Lakes Secondary School in Sarnia and Abigail Irwin from Lambton Central Collegiate & Vocational School in Petrolia were awarded the 2019 A.W. Campbell Memorial Scholarships. Robertson is studying Environmental and Physical Geography at Nippissing University this fall, while Irwin is heading to Lakehead University for its Environmental Sustainability program.
