Road work forces major closures

Sarnia-Lambton residents are being warned of a pair of significant road closures over the next few weeks.

Starting Monday, July 8, Egremont Road is closed at the east end of Warwick Village.

The closure is expected to last until the end of November, and is to allow for the replacement of the Bear Creek Bridge.

No through traffic will be allowed, and detour signs are posted to Highway 402 at Forest Road and Nauvoo Road.

Meanwhile, Petrolia Line will be shut down west of Petrolia for five to six weeks starting on Monday, July 15.

Crews will be replacing the culverts of the Callinan Drain and Noble-Wooley Drain.

Detour signs will be posted to the north via Mandaumin Road, Churchill Line, and Oil Heritage Road.
