Hiring has begun as Point Edward's new Holiday Inn Express prepares for its grand opening in late August.
Construction of Vrancor Group's six-storey $20 million hotel is nearly complete.
Hotel General Manager Doug Loucks said they're hoping to fill about 50 positions.
"We are recruiting for all positions, which would include all housekeeping, room attendants, laundry, we have some food and beverage morning hosts' for our express start breakfast, maintenance positions, front desk, general sales manager and housekeeping manager," said Loucks.
Loucks says they hope to have the positions filled so training can begin by mid-August.
There's a job fair from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Best Western Plus Guildwood Inn on Venetian Boulevard.
