VPP paying it forward

Victoria Playhouse Petrolia is paying it forward.

The theatre has teamed up with Ontario Lottery Gaming to support charities across the country.

VPP Program Coordinator Callandra Dendias said this allows patrons to donate to charities close to their heart.

"We wanted to give people the opportunity to give to a charity that is special to them but then still be able to come and see a show here at the theatre," said Dendias. "So, a $50 donation to a charity of your choice, you call the box office and they will make a note of where the patron has donated and they can choose tickets to any remaining summer season show here at the theatre."

Dendias said there are still 400 tickets available for the initiative.

Shows include Murder for Two, The New Canadian Curling Club, Hogan's Hoedown and Dracula.

The summer season wraps up on October 27.

You're asked to call the box office at 1-800-717-7694 to donate and get your ticket.
