OPP recover stolen vehicle in Warwick Township

Three people from Kettle and Stony Point are facing charges after Lambton OPP pulled over a stolen vehicle Saturday.

Police stopped the car around 6:45 p.m. on Nauvoo Road in Warwick Township.

Police said a search of the vehicle turned up suspected narcotics, drug paraphernalia, electronics, tools, and other stolen property.

Kane Underhill, 25, Cherisse George, 29, and Karl Pilz, 25, are charged with theft of a motor vehicle over $5,000, possession of a schedule one substance, break-in instruments, and property obtained by crime.

Pilz is facing additional charges of failing to comply with a probation order and undertaking.

All three will appear in court at a later date.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
