UPDATE: Missing girl found for sixth time

Sarnia police report that 11-year-old Leia Cooper has been located safely after going missing for the sixth time this month.

Police reported that Cooper had been located before 2 p.m. Friday and had been missing since Wednesday night around 10 p.m.

Sarnia police would like to thank the public for its assistance in locating the young girl.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
