The weather agency said conditions on Tuesday were previously favourable for the development of storms with heavy rain and strong wind gusts.
The watch was ended at around 7 p.m.
The blaze broke out on Saturday, just after 2:30 a.m., at a home at 2871 Oil Springs Line.
