Three taken to hospital in crash

A 55-year-old Sarnia driver is charged with careless driving after a crash Thursday evening in St. Clair Township.

Lambton OPP said one vehicle was travelling west on Lasalle Line when it collided with another vehicle going south on Kimball Road at around 7 p.m.

One of the vehicles struck a hydro pole and come to rest on its roof.

Police said three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The intersection and roads in the immediate area were closed until around 5 a.m Friday, while hydro crews made repairs.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
