City police looking for owner of recovered property

Sarnia police are looking to return stolen property to its rightful owner.

Two chainsaws and a duffle bag, with various articles inside, were recovered August 25.

It's believed the items were stolen and an investigation is underway.

The property can be reclaimed with proof of ownership like a receipt, serial number, or identifying markings.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
