Man charged in Sarnia assault investigation

A 30-year-old Sarnia man is charged after another man was found lying unconscious on the road near Front Street and Davis Street just after midnight on Monday, September 2.

Sarnia police said a 30-year-old man was found unresponsive upon their arrival and was being treated by Lambton paramedics.

Witnesses in the area at the time had also stopped to help the victim.

The victim was transported to Bluewater Health, and transported to a London Hospital in critical condition.

Police arrested Sean Meade of Sarnia on September 4 and charged him with assault causing bodily harm. The victim is still in a London hospital in stable but serious condition.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
