Rainbow of Hope fundraiser exceeds goal (VIDEO & GALLERY)

Sarnia police helped raise money at the Rainbow of Hope event over the weekend.

Officers took turns in the dunk tank at the "rainy day" fundraiser and exceeded their goal of $3,500.

Money raised will go towards the upkeep of a rainbow crosswalk at the intersection of Christina and Lochiel streets, which will be unveiled next month.

The event at Centennial Park was hosted by Women's March Canada Sarnia-Lambton, Sarnia Pride and Transgender Association and the Sarnia Intersectional Feminist Network.
