CANstruction worldwide results

Recently the CANstruction Global Headquarters in Georgia announced it’s 2018 International Top 25 cities CANstruction events for most cash donated and most food items.

The Inn of The Good Shepherd held it’s annual CANstruction event at Lambton Mall in April with 16 teams taking part.

Sarnia placed 14th overall for the most cash donated -- $14,454 and 19th overall for most food donated -- 38,856 pounds.

Over 1000 structures were built worldwide and competed for honours.

Sarnia Lambton’s CANstruction event will take place once again at Lambton Mall in spring 2020.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
