Police say seized weapons were stolen

Guns seized during a traffic stop on Highway 402 on Tuesday evening were stolen from a Lambton County residence.

Sarnia police said officers stopped a vehicle around 7:45 p.m. near Waterworks Road and arrested 36-year-old Brandon Ross Little.

Police said he's now facing further firearms charges as a result of the investigation.

He was initially charged with five counts each of possessing a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possessing a firearm while in a motor vehicle. He was also charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and driving while under suspension.

Police are thanking the public for its help during the investigation.
