Driver charged with impaired after crashing into Corunna fence

A 56-year-old St. Clair Township man is charged with impaired driving after a car struck a fence at a home on Colborne Street in Corunna.

Lambton OPP were dispatched just after midnight Wednesday.

Police said the driver was showing signs of impairment and was arrested and taken to OPP headquarters for breath tests.

The man is charged with blood alcohol concentration 80 plus and operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs. No injuries were reported.

He'll appear in Sarnia court on December 9.
