Hunter accused of shooting from vehicle

Lambton OPP seized a shotgun and arrested two Tecumseh men after investigating reports of hunters shooting from a vehicle in Dawn-Euphemia.

Police were called to Langbank Line at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

It's alleged the driver was impaired, and was taken to OPP headquarters where he failed a breath test.

A 27-year-old man is charged with impaired operation of a vehicle, and a 24-year-old man faces a careless use of firearm charge.

Both are scheduled to appear in Sarnia court December 23.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
