Point Edward break-in arrest

A 39-year-old Sarnia man is facing charges after a business on Christina Street North in Point Edward was broken into.

Lambton OPP were called at around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.

After speaking with witnesses, police say they located a suspect on Berkshire Street and seized stolen property.

The man is to appear in Sarnia court December 16 on charges of break and enter, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
