Sarnia police cruiser involved in collision Friday

Lambton OPP are investigating a crash involving a Sarnia police cruiser and pick up truck on Friday evening.

OPP responded to the crash at around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 40 and Indian Road.

Both drivers were transported to hospital with minor injuries.

It's unknown if charges will be laid.

The OPP said more information will be released as it becomes available.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
