Firefighters ignite holiday cheer around Sarnia

The Sarnia Professional Firefighters Association has been spreading Christmas cheer this week.

Through the Community Benefit Fund the association donated $11,000 to local charities including $5,000 to Pathway's Health Centre for Children. The money is for the Pool and Aquatic Program.

The Huron House Boys Home, The Inn of the Good Shepherd and the Salvation Army were each gifted $2,000.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
