Lambton OPP investigating collision and stolen vehicles

On Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. Lambton OPP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Baseline Road in St. Clair Township.

While responding to the scene, police were advised a concerned citizen had attended the scene to check on the driver, at which time, the driver forcibly removed the citizen from his small ATV Vehicle and fled the scene in the vehicle.

The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The vehicle was located abandoned several hours later.

Initial investigation revealed the vehicle involved in the collision had been reported stolen on an earlier date.

The Lambton OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any knowledge of this incident they are asked to call the Lambton OPP at 519-882-1011 or 1-888-310-1122.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
