High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Lambton County OPP is investigating a robbery that occurred on Ravenswood Line, Lambton Shores.
Two suspects broke in the 7000 block of Ravenswood Line in the Municipality of Lambton Shores on Saturday. After entering, the suspects committed a robbery and left the area in the victim's vehicle. The vehicle was found later on the same day.
The Lambton County OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and is looking for help from the public. If anyone has any knowledge of this incident they are asked to call the Lambton County Crime Unit at 519-882-1011 or 1-888-310-1122.
