Family physician returns home to practise

A Sarnia born and raised family physician has landed back in her hometown to practise.

The Physician Recruitment Taskforce of Sarnia Lambton announced Dr. Jasmine Davies will be joining the West Lambton Community Health Centre on Exmouth Street on April 8.

Dr. Davies said she wanted to practise close to home.

“As both my fiancé and I grew up in Sarnia and the majority of our family lives here, it has always been our goal to move back," said Davies. "Sarnia is a beautiful and supportive community. We both loved growing up here and knew it was where we wanted to settle down and to raise a family.”

Dr. Davies was a recipient of the 2018 Norma & Don Moore Scholarship, through the Sarnia Community Foundation.

She completed all of her training at Western University, where she received a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree in 2012, and a Medical Degree in 2016.

Dr. Davies represents the 32nd family physician recruited by the Physician Recruitment Taskforce of Sarnia Lambton.
