Police investigate Thursday morning collision

Sarnia police are looking for witnesses to an incident last Thursday that ended with a two-vehicle crash.

Police say at around 9:30 a.m. the drivers of a white Ford Explorer and a white Ford Focus were involved in an incident as the vehicles left the Highway 402 on-ramp heading south onto Modeland Road.

Both vehicles continued south, then west on Wellington Street to Finch Drive.

At the intersection of Finch and Cobblestone Crescent, police say the car struck the back of the SUV.

No injuries were reported.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
