Pickup leaves path of destruction

A single-vehicle crash caused significant damage on Finch Drive Tuesday morning.

City police said a southbound pickup truck spun out of control just after 8 a.m.

The truck jumped the curb, shattered a glass bus shelter and took out a fire hydrant in front of the YMCA Jerry McCaw Family Centre.

A 43-year-old woman was charged with careless driving.

No injuries were reported.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
