Job seekers invited to career expo

If you're looking for work, Lambton College Community Employment Services (CES) is hosting a job fair Tuesday, February 4.

Employment Consultant and Job Developer Carla Tillapaugh said a number of companies across Sarnia-Lambton are looking to fill a variety of positions.

"We are hoping to assist anybody who is looking for part-time or full-time employment," said Tillapaugh. " We are going to have a number of employers on-site so people will have the opportunity to meet with employers and discuss job opportunities."

Some of the employers include Steeves and Rozema, McDonald's, Lyndon Security and Lambton Elderly Outreach.

The job fair is on from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Camlachie Community Centre on Camlachie Road.

A resume, photo ID, and social insurance number are required.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
