Four people charged with trafficking

Four Sarnia-Lambton residents face drug trafficking charges following a cocaine bust last month.

The Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit executed a search warrant on January 23rd, at a residence in the 100 block of Whitmore Avenue as part of an ongoing investigation.

Police say a search of the residence uncovered 49.95 grams of cocaine, with an estimated street value of $5,000 and $1,000 in cash.

Jonas Derrick Oliver, 22, Jaylynn Graham, 19, and Hunter Eric Balkind, 20, all from Sarnia, as well as Chris McArthur, 21, of Corunna are charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

McArthur is also charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Police say all four have been released on an undertaking. They're scheduled to appear in Sarnia court on February 19.
