High flaring, noise reported at Imperial

High flaring and noise have been reported at Sarnia’s Imperial Oil refinery.

Aamjiwnaang’s Notification System reported on Wednesday that there had been a unit upset and a Chemical Valley Emergency Coordinating Organization information notice was issued.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
