Gladu seeking support from constituents Saturday

Sarnia-Lambton's MP is reaching out to her constituents, as she continues to collect signatures and raise money in her quest to become Conservative Party Leader.

Marilyn Gladu is hosting a meet and greet at Lambton Mall from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday where residents can offer their signatures and contribute to her campaign.

Gladu says she's hoping to be officially registered within the coming days and vetted by the party.

"The bar is high this time to enter the race, you need $300,000 and 3,000 signatures from members, so I've got a team working across the country, but in my heartland of Sarnia-Lambton it will be great to have support," said Gladu.

The deadline for potential candidates to enter the leadership election is February 27.
