OPP caution residents about door-to-door salespeople

Lambton OPP are telling homeowners to be skeptical of door-to-door salespeople.

The OPP responded to several calls at around 11 a.m. Tuesday about a suspicious vehicle in the town of Plympton-Wyoming.

Police said the occupants of the vehicle going door-to-door trying to sell asphalt services.

The OPP is reminding homeowners to ask for photo I.D and the name of the company they represent. Never share any personal information and only allow people you trust, access to your property.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
