Case closed on incident at St. Pat’s

Sarnia police have concluded their investigation into a matter that resulted in the brief lockdown of St. Patrick’s High School on Friday morning.

Officers were called to the school after an alleged assault took place near one of the bathrooms. The director of education for the St. Clair Catholic District School Board (SCCDSB) later said in a statement that one student was taken to the hospital.

As a result, the school was placed under lockdown for just under an hour.

Police concluded their investigation on Saturday, identifying it as non-criminal. Further investigations into the matter will not be done.
