Young offenders arrested in convenience store break in

Sarnia police have arrested two young offenders following a break and enter to a south end convenience store.

Police arrived to the store at Davis Street and Christina Street at around midnight Tuesday. They say the front window was smashed and a hammer was left behind.

Officers used surveillance video to get a description of the suspects.

They were tracked down by police a short time later, along with items stolen from the store.

One of the accused required medical attention due to injuries sustained as a result of the broken glass.

Both suspects were charged with break and enter. Their names aren't being released.
