Ejected passenger escapes serious injury in rollover

A passenger who was ejected from a rolling vehicle last week suffered only minor injuries, according to Lambton OPP.

Police, Lambton EMS, and the St. Clair Township Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Mandaumin Road between Bentpath Line and Burman Line March 5 at around 1 p.m.

Police said a pickup truck hit the shoulder, entered the ditch, rolled onto its roof and struck a hydro pole.

Both the driver and passenger were sent to hospital with minor injuries.

The area was closed for about two hours for the hydro lines to be repaired.

Police continue to investigate.
