Food drive to support local shelters during pandemic

There is a food drive at the Sarnia Missionary Church Sunday to support local shelters during the COVID-19 crisis.

From 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. March 22 residents can drop off non-perishable items at the church's front door at 707 Talfourd Street.

Organizers will come out and take the items inside for distribution to local agencies including the Inn of the Good Shepherd, Salvation Army, River City Shelter, St. Vincent de Paul, and Neighbourlink.

NeighbourLink Sarnia-Lambton is a network of 22 local community churches working together to respond to community needs.

It's expected drop-off stations will be set-up at other local churches as well throughout the week.
