Two arrested for allegedly pointing firearms at dirt bikers

Lambton OPP arrested two men who allegedly pointed firearms out of a vehicle at a pair of dirt bikers in Enniskillen Township Wednesday.

Police were called to Gypsie Flats Road at around 5:20 p.m.

Members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) located and stopped the vehicle, and seized two firearms.

Two men, aged 47 and 42 from Petrolia, are each charged with pointing a firearm, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The 47-year-old is also charged with violating a probation order, and the 42-year-old faces an additional charge of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Both suspects had bail hearings scheduled on Thursday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
