Courtright man identified in fatal crash, police seeking witnesses

St. Thomas Police have identified a Courtright man who was killed in a head-on crash with an SUV on Saturday.

Officers responded to Sunset Drive near Wilson Avenue at around 4:30 p.m. May 16.

They said 60-year-old Darcy Krauza died of his injuries after being struck by a southbound SUV that crossed the centre line.

A passenger on the motorcycle, a 22-year-old female, was transported to hospital with serious injuries while the driver of the SUV, a 59-year-old St. Thomas woman, was also taken to hospital with injuries.

Police want to speak with anyone who saw the crash, particularly at a nearby gas station.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
