City police seek victim involved in collision

Sarnia police are looking for a victim involved in a collision Thursday.

Police said a blue sedan struck another vehicle on East Street near Davis around 4:10 p.m.

The driver of the blue sedan fled the scene.

Officers with the Vice Unit, who happened to be in the area at the time and saw the crash, followed the suspect vehicle and eventually stopped it.

Although the driver of the blue vehicle was identified, police said the victim involved in the crash has not yet come forward.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
